The Ferrari Limo – Possibly the Sportiest Limousine Ever Made

When two types of luxury vehicles combine amazing things can happen. That’s definitely true for the Ferrari Limo. Half sports car, half stretch limo this beast is the best of both worlds.

How the Ferrari Limo Came to Be

Way back in 2007, Dan Cawley of Style Limousines in Manchester, UK wanted to make headlines at the European Limousine and Chauffeur Show. One surefire way of doing so was to unveil something no one has seen before. Others had already begun playing around with turning everyday road warriors into high occupancy black car transportation. But no one had tried it with a Ferrari.

Cawley opted for the 360 Modena model for one half of his black car brainchild. As with other limo creations, this gem of a car had to be cut in half in order to expand the mid-section for extra seating. To do that, he enlisted the help of Carbonyte UK.

But don’t expect to find all the headroom and amenities of other limos. This is still a streamlined speed demon after all, and the goal was to keep the Ferrari experience at the forefront. The result – a luxury limo perfect for horsepower hungry speed freaks that want to share a head snapping ride with a handful of friends.

The FerrariLimo Specs

When it comes to performance and functionality this is no ordinary limo – or Ferrari for that matter. Here’s what the Ferrari limo is capable of.

Top Speed: 166 mph

0 to 60: less than 6 seconds

Brake Horsepower: 400 bhp

Length: 23 feet

Maximum Occupancy: 8 people

Cost: Over $300,000

It’s the fastest limo in the world, but even so it doesn’t quite match the speed of its sporty half. Regular Ferrari 360 Modena’s go 189 mph and hit 60 mph in just 4.2 seconds. Mostly because they only seat 2 people.

When asked about the limo here’s what Cawley had to say, “We made it because we wanted to create the ultimate Ferrari experience.” From what we can tell, he totally succeeded.
